Networking is one of the most important (and sometimes most difficult) aspects of being a wedding photographer. So, last year, I mustered up all of the courage I could, and I attended my very first Photographer’s conference, the Inspire Boston conference… completely alone… by my self. Yep, that’s right. If you know me at all, you know how huge of a step that was for me… little old shy and introverted me. But I met some really really awesome people at the conference, made a lot of friends, and even got to hook up with some great people this past summer to shoot with!
When Suzanna, from Suzanna March Photography, emailed me after the Inspire conference asking if I wanted to shoot a wedding with her in Ridgefield, I was psyched! She was really fun to hang out with at the conference, and I simply was blown away by her photography. She really gets it… what it really means to capture the love between her couples. You can just feel it in her work, and I was so honored that she asked me to shoot with her.
And her clients are awesome! Sheila and Stephen were possibly the cutest and most head over heels in love that I’ve had the privilege to witness. Their wedding was so much fun, and I had a blast photographing with Suz, especially when I manned the photobooth at the reception! All of the guests really got into it, and I think you can see in Suz’s part III post just how much!! Thanks so much for letting me share in their love, Suz, and thank you Sheila and Stephen for letting me help capture your story!!
